Pops took the boys out to Starbucks and 5 Guys! Brian Jr. and Christopher always look forward to seeing Pops! They are a joy to be around! Love you Guys. Thanks for being our Relatives!

Grandfriends Day at Bible Baptist School

December 21st was "Grandfriends' Day." This was our 5th year attending. The program is full of singing, music, and refreshments! We have 4 grandchildren attending Bible Baptist School this year. We gathered in the Church and each grade performed. All songs centered around the birth of Jesus Christ!

My good friend Ginny attended filling in as a Grand Friend. The kids affectionately call her Aunt Granny! Ginny went to Michael's class and Jennifer went to Katelyn's. Dan went to Christopher's class and I went to Brian Jr's. Once in the classroom we were entertained once more!
Our oldest grandson Brian Jr. played "Away In The Manger" on the Piano!
Michael is 7 years old and sang in the choir. He's in the
middle wearing a red argyle sweater.
Katelyn 's kindergarten class sang two songs.
Love the Dress Kate!

The picture below is sad. This is the last year Brian Jr
will participate in Grandfriends' day! Next
year he will be a 7th grader, a Junior Higher!

The 12 Days Of Christmas

Dan and I have a Family Tradition that's been going on since we were married! It begins 12 days before Christmas. Each night we give each other and the girls gifts. They are small gifts and tricky gifts. Part of the fun is guessing what it is. In the past I pretty much guessed whatever Dan gave me. This year it's different! I call him "SNEAKS!" It's the third night and I haven't guessed one gift! He on the other hand is 2 for 3! Below Dan is feeling the bag trying to guess what it might be!
He's right! Charleston Chews!
My turn!
This picture shows why he's a "SNEAK!" It was a slinky!
The picture below shows Dan very happy that he fooled me :)

The Night Disco Died

Last night we went to a Murder Mystery Dinner "Disco Craze" It came and went so quickly, but what an impact it had! We had an opportunity to relive that period of time we call the Disco Era!

During the show I was pulled out of the audience and taken back stage. They put a Afro wig on me and sent me out to entertain! I actually wore my hair like this in the 70's, it was hilarious! (photo credits, Dan)

Platform Shoes, I actually owned a pair of these! Not with this design though! What was I thinking LOL!

I made sure Dan got to try on the Afro wig too! During the evening actors kept referring to him as G Gordon Liddy! Dan met Liddy a few years ago at my nieces baptism. I'll have to find that picture and post it!

Sugar Daddy in the lime green, skiddle outfit below, that's what he was called, would stop during the performance and say to me "Go ahead take my picture, get it over with" I met him as we left and he looked nothing like this getup, he was kind of bald and real young looking!
Dan and I dated, graduated and married in the 70's! What great memories!

In the late 70's Dan and I took disco lessons from

"Arthur Murry Dance Studios" We can still disco :)
Brittany and Steve were our Guests!
