Cousins, Snow & Cardinals!

I was so happy to have Overnight Guests!

I got a surprise call from Dan's cousin Faith! She was in DC saying goodbye

to her son Ben. He left for Iraq yesterday! Please pray for our troops!

We ate, played Wii and stayed up late talking in the library!

I can't believe these are the only photos I took of their overnight visit! Ed,

you're the Man! You still treat your wife like a Newlywed! Not to many men

still open the car doors for their wives!

Edward, a Man/Pastor I so respect! Thanks for your Godly Wisdom!

You are a man of Integrity!

Jonathan! Love this boy! We are a lot alike too. We both are pretty competitive when

it comes to games! Thanks Jonathan for the fun evening of Wii!

The snow kept falling, for most of the day. It was so white out there that a RED color

caught my eye! There were 10 or so Cardinals out back searching for food. I

quickly filled our "Pops Bird Feeder" Most of the photos were taken from inside.

At the end of my photo shoot, I opened the back door and much to my surprise,

they didn't fly away! I guess they were Hungry!

ps..although i used photo shop on some of these photos, I did not enhance the

red color of the Cardinals! That's the way they came out of the camera! Amazing!

Missing the Warm Weather

be in the Bahamas on a Missions Trip with her college!

She will be putting her nursing skills to work there.

Faith & Brooklyn Boisvert

Faith and Brooklyn are Steve's nieces! They are adorable and so well behaved. Brittany and I babysat them last night. When their Mom left she winked at me and said, "Feel free to take pictures of the girls!" That's music to my ears! Joe and Rakel, you are wise parents! This verse comes to mind when I think of your parenting. "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6" These girls will thank you one day for the training you are giving them now! Spending a night with these girlie's was a joy! It was great having girls in the house again!

Brooklyn was too cute! She would walk around the house with a huge smile. Brittany gave her some napkins to hold and she walked around feeling so important!

Brooklyn sat patiently playing with this tangelo, while Brittany made supper for the girls! I got to feed her dinner and she was chatting the whole time.

Faith! She is adorable! Every time she comes over, she asks if we can play the Wii together! We started out with bowling, but that didn't last long. She pipped up and said "I want to do the running one!". This little one ran for over 10 minutes and finished her race! She ran so fast at times that her Wii character fell over. I was able to get a video of Faith running one of her races!

All Because My Niece asked me to wake up early and make a Protein Shake with her!

Maryland Sunrise

My niece Kathryn who lives in Florida, asked me If I'd wake up early to make a shake with her. When she told me it would be early before 7ish I wasn't too thrilled! Those of you that know me, know that I'm a night owl. I agreed to meet her on Skype at 7am. When I went to bed I was sure that I wouldn't make the date with her the next day! To my surprise I slept well and after Dan prayed with me and read a portion of God's word, (which he does every morning with me) I was up and ready to go! We had fun chatting and then all of a sudden I noticed this brilliant orange shinning through the back yard and on the front of the house. I grabbed my camera and well the rest is history! If your not an early riser, this is what you are missing!

Backyard

I couldn't get over how orange everything out back looked!

The trees below almost looked like fall trees.

That morning I got another treat! A Beautiful Blue Sky with Puffy Clouds!

The Moon was visible too!

I took two photos, one indoors and the other outside!

Last but not least, a photo, my 7 year old granddaughter Kara shot at Sunrise! She's got quite the eye and I'm so very proud of her! Kara took this photo standing in her living room! Great Shot Kara!
