Britt started school today. As usual she is full of JOY :)

I left Britt a note this morning and when I came downstairs......... I found a note for me!

Meet Dan's Dad, Vincent Martin Kovlak Sr. (Vinny). He was a auto mechanic and owned his own business. He was one of the most generous men I know! Most importantly he was a Christian. He would wake up early on Sunday mornings and go to church to turn up the heat, so by the time we got there it was nice and comfy. At work, he was also giving, at times not charging people for work that he had done on their cars. He lived life full of joy. In a few days, I'll post again about Vinny. You see, a year ago, on August 31st, he went home to be with the Lord. We miss you Pops!Click on the photo and read

Yesterday we took Hilma to Dr Azizkhan's

office. He used to be my doctor when I lived in

Pennsylvania. He's so nice! After Hilma's visit

Jen and I took her to the Pennsylvania Bakery.

They sell one of my favorite cookies, the

Chinese Almond, so good!

More Weekend Fun!

Kelly graduated with these girls. They love getting together to cook dinner. The house smells like a restaurant when they cook! They gave Kelly a nice send off. Kelly leaves for college tomorrow.

Kara tried on Poodies Christmas gift. It's called The Full Armor of God. He will play and learn about God's protection for Spiritual Battle. Each piece represents a different bible truth. The helmet of Salvation. The Sword of the Spirit. Breastplate of Righteousness, Shield of Faith and the Gospel of Peace Shin Guards. This truth is found in the bible in the book of Ephesians 6:13-18 Check it out, it's all in there!

Jennifer weighed in at 5 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 and a half inches long! She was a quick delivery too! 5 months old

Poodie Is Here!

Karen & Dan came to visit tonight. They came to pick up

Kara. I haven't seen Joshua in a long time and being

a 15 month old, he can get stranger anxiety. When he
got out of the car, he ran right to me with a huge smile!

Made my DAY!

Poodie loves to go out back and

watch the planes fly in. I'm taking him to

the airport tomorrow to have lunch.

We can sit outside and watch the planes

take off and land. The aiport is about

a mile away from our house

Summer Fun

Over the next few weeks I'll be posting more fun

with the Grand kids.I've had some of them for 6 weeks!

When school starts we hardly get to see them,

so I'm taking advantage of the free time!
