Summer Celebration Kids Camp

Grandsons, Christopher & Michael attended camp 

this year. This was their 3rd year!  Each day is 

filled with Songs, Teachings and Games. 

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill

cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put 

it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light

 to all the house.  In the same way, let your  light 

SHINE

Before others, so that they may see your good works

and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.

This year they learned that "Character Counts"

Contentment

Perseverance

Forgiveness "Deciding that someone who has 

wronged you doesn't have to pay"

Colossians 3:13

Bearing with one another and, if one has a 

complaint against another, forgiving each 

other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you

 also must forgive.

Love "Choosing to give someone your time and

attention no matter what."

Honor "Showing others how valuable

they are by your actions"

Matthew 7:12 So whatever you wish that

others would do to you, do also to them,

for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Contentment "Choosing to be happy 

with what you have"

1 Timothy 6:6-7 Now there is great gain in

godliness with contentment, for we brought

nothing into the world, and we cannot take

anything out of the world.

Perseverance "Deciding to finish what you 

started even when it's hard"

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefor, since we are surrounded

by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside

every weight and sin which clings so closely, and let 

us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our 

faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured

the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the

right hand of the throne of God.
